Moving Boxes in Sydney

Whether you’re looking for boxes for moving in within Sydney or even interstate or overseas RingaBox can help, you probably want durability, convenience, and, of course, a great price. RingaBox ticks all the boxes. At RingaBox we have cardboard moving boxes from $1.85 delivered. We will not be beaten on price or service.

Durable Moving Boxes

If you’ve moved before and you’ve used sub-standard moving boxes, then you know the importance of real moving boxes. If you score bargain basement or single cushioned moving boxes, you might be up for a surprise when they don’t hold up to the rigors of an average move. Your valuable processions may even be damaged. At RingaBox we only use quality twin cushioned cardboard boxes that are made specifically for the moving industry. They are standard sizes that are made to be able to stack in uniform piles in a truck.

Convenience and Price

Life in the big city makes you used to getting what you need when you need it and getting it at a great price.  But to get your moving boxes right away, you probably think you need to shop locally, right?  Actually, RingaBox can get your order to you in 24 hours at a price that cannot be matched.

RingaBox moving boxes can be purchased quickly and easily online with free delivery and a best price guarantee.  How?  www.ringabox.com.au  that’s how!

Getting Ready to Move

Greg Tamsett - Thursday, October 07, 2010

If you’re getting ready for your move, it can seem like the only thing piling up quicker than your moving boxes are the worries surrounding your move.  Moving is said to be one of the most stressful events a person can go through, which means you’re not alone.  Thankfully, stress relief can be found in a few unexpected, yet simple ways…

If you’re pre-packing your cardboard boxes for your move, then you’re way ahead, compared to most people. But, a stack of full boxes can sure make life unpleasant. Try and dedicate one room that is not used frequently and store all your boxes in one neat stack. This allows life to continue is a semi normal way rather than tripping over a stack of moving boxes every time you go to the loo

 Label Everything

It may seem awfully simple, but labeling your moving boxes can save you a tremendous amount of time and energy during moving and unpacking.  No detail is too small to include on the box, as you’re likely to be searching for a few small, random items soon after arrival at your new place.  Labels will also help you and your movers identify fragile items during your move and put them in the correct rooms on arrival, this will reduce the amount of double handling required.

Organised Unpacking

Just because you’re moving boxes are in your new place, doesn’t mean the stress is over.  Most people tend to overlook the unpacking process of the move.  Organisation is very important at this point.  Once your boxes are placed in the rooms they need to be in, you can focus on unpacking one room at a time.  On the day of your move, it can be advantageous to get your bedroom completely setup.  This will allow you to end and start each day in an organised, completely unpacked room.

Moving Tips 1 & 2

Moving Boxes and Packing Tip #1 : Packing Clothes Effectively - Get the Ball Rolling

Start by packing your clothing that is out of season. For example if you are moving in summer. Pack up you winter clothes, boots, winter sporting equipment, etc. This will give you a sense of accomplishment. A common mistake made when packing clothing is to pack using the largest moving box possible. This is a problem because once that moving box is filled it is heavy and very awkward to lift.

Also if you carry a large packing box in front of your face, you can't see where you are going. Consider packing many smaller boxes that have a manageable weight versus a few mammoth and heavy boxes. RingaBox suggests that you pack folding clothes in our Tea Chest Boxes. For dresses,  suits or anything you don't want to fold for fear of wrinkling we suggest a Porta Robe

Moving Boxes and Packing Tip #2: Apply the 80/20 Rule to Packing

Lets face it you wear your favourite 20% of your clothes 80% of the time. If you use this 80/20 mindset to look at your wardrobe, you can do a great job of packing the 80% of the clothes that you wear only 20% of the time. This way you can continue to wear the clothes you need and enjoy as you start packing.

Remember take your time to Pack that's why RingaBox allows you to keep the Packing Boxes for up to 3 months

Strength Price Size

Is Box Strength important?

Corrugated cardboard moving boxes come in all shapes, sizes, densities and strengths. The thicker the cardboard the greater protection it provides to its contents. The moving industry is very competitive but professional movers use twin cushioned (Double Thickness) cardboard boxes. At Ring-A-Box we only rent or sell twin cushioned cardboard boxes. Weaker boxes will tend to crush under fairly insignificant weight loads. Twin cushioned boxes will help insure your valuable processions arrive safely and undamaged. Only use cardboard boxes that have been designed for moving, remember all your boxes will need to be stacked in the back of a truck sometimes four high and they need to be strong to absorb the weight.

How can RingaBox rent cardboard boxes at such a competitive rate?

Volume discount, because we buy over four million dollars worth of cardboard per year we are able to get great prices from our suppliers. By focusing exclusively on renting moving boxes and keeping our outgoings to a minimum we have streamlined our process and can pass on savings to our clients.

How can I choose the right Box Size?

RingaBox only rents or sell the most common sizes that are standard to the removal industry. RingaBox cardboard boxes are strong and compatible with each other to ensure ease of stacking
